Petworth Park

A morning of photographing the Fallow and Roe deer and autumn colours at Petworth Park. Followed by refreshments in Petworth House or a visit to the town for architectural/street photography.

The Park car park is off the A283 (Note - it is not the main House and Gardens car park.)

Hascombe Hill

A trip to Hascombe Hill to photograph interesting landscapes and hopefully catching any remaining autumn colour . We aim to finish with refreshments in the pub opposite the village green.

Photographing the Christmas lights etc. and finishing with refreshments in a local establishment.

Guildford Cathedral

The club received permission to visit Guildford Cathedral for photographing the newly refurbished and decorated building.   Tripods allowed.

Brooklands museum

There is a lot to see and do at the museum. The Aircraft Factory has the history of aircraft manufacture from early days to supersonic. The Motoring Village is made up of surviving original workshops showing the story of record breaking Brooklands history, racing cars as well as motor cycles. Also the London Bus museum and a large aircraft park with aircraft of all types including the Concorde where you may take a 'flight'. 
Also, there is the Mercedes-Benz World with free entry opposite the Museum.
There is a nice restaurant serving hot meals as well as lunch time snacks and drinks.

Polesden Lacey,

The gardens at Polesden Lacey, Great Bookham are a National Trust Property. The house once belonged to socialite Margaret Greville. The house is surrounded by 30 acres of gardens & rolling country side, with views across to Dorking. We can explore the garden with its Spring flowers and maybe stroll one of the 4 Estate walks - each of varying lengths from 1.5 miles to 4 miles.
There is a restaurant serving hot meals or a cafe for coffee and snacks.

Meet at the entrance to the car park.

The car park is free to NT members, £4 for non-members.

 

This season’s subject is Shoreham harbour for anyone who isn’t able to join us on our visits and is an alternative opportunity for them to take part in the outside events competition.
